Many people believe cats are operating on their own agenda, paying no heed to their own owner – because they have clean litter, food , and water. At times, cats can behave in unusual ways which can quickly confuse their owners and make it very difficult to decide what the cat wants. As confusing as cat behavior can be, there are some ways you can solve common mysteries of cat behaviour. A typical action that virtually all cats do is drive their heads into some sort of obstacle that enables them to do so. You’ve definitely seen your cat do this before, definitely against table legs, TV stands or something else. This can be noticed even more when you have other people in your house who own animals or those with allergies. When a cat sees that, he’ll rub his head against the human. In doing so, he’ll put the human a drop of saliva on. In the mind of a cat, it possesses what it puts on its saliva. The item or human would have a familiar smell by putting on something of his saliva. Although this can be really irritating, you have to realize that your cat is perceived as strange or peculiar by other people in your neighborhood. When a cat does that, it only wants to make the intruder belong. He’s trying to put his scent on them when he brushes up against them and puts his saliva on them – which in his mind will mean they belong to his territory.
